Plasma Medical is a unique and revolutionary treatment for lifting the upper eyelids without surgery.
With Plasma Medical you can now also treat several areas outside the eyelids such as wrinkles on the forehead and crow's feet.
What is Plasma?
Plasma consists of particles of a gaseous substance that are ionized to a greater or lesser extent. A special technique with the Plasma Medical creates a spark discharge that generates plasma. This plasma ensures that we can heat the skin very evenly.
How does Plasma Medical treatment technology work?
Plasma provides a direct lifting effect. With the Plasma Medical we apply a special treatment technique, where we put small dots in the skin. These small dots with a diameter of 0.1 mm to 0.3 mm enter the skin approximately 0.02 mm to 0.04 mm deep.
Your skin will recover naturally and will take on a nice, even structure. This combination of treatment gives your skin a beautiful and lifting whole.
What are the benefits of the Plasma Medical treatment?
Fast treatment time
Usually 1 treatment needed both upper and lower eyelids
Pay attention! The recovery period depends on the type of person. Ask the specialist for specific information about your skin type and healing.
Plasma Medical treatment is not possible for:
Carriers of a Pacemaker, Holter blood pressure monitoring system or ECG
Persons with metal implants or other implemented electrical devices
People with diabetes
People with skin types 4 and 5 (dark to very dark skin)
What do I have to take into account before I start treatment?
We ask you not to put on makeup before being treated. Make-up can cause irritation and bacterial interference in the plasma tips. In addition, we advise against going under the sunbed 1 month before the treatment.
What does the aftercare of Plasma Medical entail?
After a Plasma Medical treatment, most people experience a burning sensation that is similar to sunburn. This disappears after a few hours. In addition, a considerable swelling will occur both above and below the treated zone. We recommend restoring a few days in peace at home.
This response to treatment can vary per person and can sometimes last longer. With pain, anti-inflammatory drugs such as Ibuprofen or a painkiller such as paracetamol can provide relief.
Cooling with water or a wet washcloth has a calming effect and helps to reduce swelling. Tearing of the eyes can occur in some cases.
These reactions are part of the natural healing process and the redness and darkness can disappear within 3 to 6 months. If after three months you still suffer from dark circles on the eyes, pigment laser is applied without extra costs. This treatment ensures a smoother handling of pigmentation spots.
During the healing process of the treated area, very small scabs appear on the small holes that are made with plasma in your skin. These will release on their own (do not scratch or rub) after about seven days. Simply showering is not a problem after treatment, we strongly advise against swimming and visiting the sauna. After 4 days you can apply camouflage and / or makeup.
If your skin has healed after 10 to 14 days, it is mandatory to apply a high sunscreen SPF 50 every two hours for 3-6 months to prevent sunburn and scarring.
Due to the collagen effect, the result is optimal after 3 to 6 months. In some cases a second treatment is necessary for a good result. This repeat treatment can be done after approximately 10 months. The result remains between 3 to 10 years depending on the treated zone, number of sessions and your age. The treatment is not painless, but very tolerant.
